Description
Bob Salmans and Erik Choron present security-operations training aligned with the CS0-004 version of CompTIA CySA+. The course connects network, endpoint and cloud observations with SIEM and EDR analysis. Vulnerability scanning, risk-based prioritization and threat intelligence are used to explain how analysts decide which findings need attention.
Incident triage, evidence collection and root-cause analysis form another major strand. The syllabus also addresses attacker-behavior frameworks, reporting to technical and nontechnical stakeholders, and the use and governance of AI in security operations. The syllabus links exam preparation with examples drawn from day-to-day security analysis.
Intended audience: SOC analysts and practitioners working in vulnerability management or incident response. Learners preparing for the CS0-004 CySA+ exam.
