描述

Bandizip is an archive utility for creating compressed packages and opening archives in common formats. The source describes support for formats including ZIP, 7Z and RAR, along with self-extracting and multi-volume archive workflows.

Character-encoding controls help handle filenames from different languages, while direct extraction and compression options address common file-management tasks. Already-compressed media may shrink very little when archived again; the application includes an option to bypass additional compression for such content as part of its archiving workflow.
